Finally

I just looked up the new Gorillaz album in 2016 and this is what I found, A new album from cartoon cosmopolitan pop project Gorillaz.

Damon Albarn said, "I'm starting recording in September for a new Gorillaz record,"

Their absence from the music scene had fuelled rumours that the group had split but Damon says he hadn't ever abandoned hopes of making a new Gorillaz abum.

Albarn's Gorillaz co-conspirator, illustrator Jamie Hewlett, confirmed the group's resurgence when he shared a bunch of new artwork on his Instagram back in February.
